U16 v Fakenham Nov 2006

Neatherd looked to be the strongest team throughout the opening minutes...After a few good passes between Jess and Elaine the ball was crossed to Katie in the box, she skillfully controlled the ball and thumped it in the back of the net! 1-0 Neatherd!!

Unfourtanetly Fakenham soon slipped one in the net a few minutes later, a good shot sneaked in the corner. 1-1. A few minutes before half time Lauren recieved a good pass from Jess and scored!A super finish in the top hand corner. 2-1 Neatherd! But again soon there was another goal from Fakenham, a great shot in to the top corner was unstoppable for the keeper, no matter how tall!

After a quick team chat Neatherd were back on the pitch up for some more action - There was some good passing throughout the defence and midfield, however this could be improved by coming to training! Unfourtunatley a bad pass was given straight to a Fakenham player, she ran down the wing and drove towards the goal, had a shot and the ball slipped through Becca's hands, never mind.3-2 Fakenham.The final whistle blew.

Overall it was a pretty good match, Neatherd were unlucky to loose, better luck next time. Well done everyone!..thanks to Miss Roe for taking us.
