The home game against Kings Lynn was tougher than expected. Ever since kick off they dominated the match whenever we passed they got the ball and it was left to Anya ,Leah, Aimee and Holly to defend. Ashleigh made some great runs on the left wing but didn’t manage to deliver a telling cross. Their goal keeper didn’t even get a touch all match and after about 10 minutes we were already 2-0 down but he kept our heads up and tried to fight back. With 10 minutes left in the 1st half we brought some subs on to try and liven the game up but unfortunately it stayed the same. By half time we were 4-0 down. We went into the second half thinking that we could do something but as soon as they got the ball they scored but our goal keeper Rachel made some really good saves to stop us being like 8-0 down! Paige dropped to defence and Leah went to midfield. We was just trying out a change it was not like it would have mattered we were 6-0 down by now. Throughout the match they outplayed us, they were a very good team. A good effort from Neatherd, but not good enough!
